The Leader Group is the very first Sri Lankan company to introduce two-wheeler batteries in May 2016, a technology that was available only in the developed countries.

In December 2022, KAIJIE – two wheeler battery manufacturing arm of Leader Group – partnered up with TVS Lanka to expand the network and distribute the batteries islandwide.

Reaching yet another milestone, Leader Group bagged Gold award in the autoparts manufacturing category, at the National Industrial Excellence Awards in 2022, organised by the Industrial Development Board.
